BRASSED OFF ONCE MORE

We had a really great concert in the Kirk Theatre on Saturday Sept 16th . The band's playing was on a much higher level throughout the night, as we performed all the music from the 1996 film 'Brassed Off' in 'Where There's Muck There's Brass'. Our exploration of both the music and its history was skillfully intertwined with dialogue from the film, performed by members of Whitby Amateur Dramatic Society. All this was linked by Katrina Stead who was the director of the stage production in Whitby over the Easter period. We are very grateful for all the work she and the members of W.A.D.S. did to make the evening such a success.
