REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE

Pickering's Remembrance Day Service took place on Sunday 13th in the afternoon at St Peter & St Paul's Church. After the service the parade marched from the church steps to the Cenotaph at the Memorial Hall, with the band playing some rousing war time songs at the bottom of the market place. Lauren played the Last Post & Reveille again making that 3rd timeof the day having again played at Thornton Dale in the morning & also during the church service. She also played on the morning of the 11th in the market place where a short service was held, as well as at the memorial service on the Saturday, making a grand total of 5 for the weekend.
